As a working class business owner, I have had to overcome a lot of obstacles, but none have been more challenging than overcoming physical injuries that inhibit ones efforts to be productive. Steady Yeddy products were conceived and developed from the circumstances resulting from my disabilities which resulted directly from my efforts to be productive.

I have been a mechanic for as long as I can remember and have operated my own repair business for the last 12 years. Over the last several years, I have had the unfortunate experience of having my legs crushed and back broken leaving me severely handicapped for extended periods of time. In fact, I am still partially handicapped to this day. However, being the owner of a business allows little time to succumb to ones wounds, I had to be able to work and work for me means climbing up, on or over areas to reach the task at hand.

And so began the evolution of the Steady Yeddy. The first prototype resulted from my necessity. Every step in the evolutionary process from that point has been the result of daily trails, as I pushed myself to be productive. Six years of empirical engineering has resulted in a tool that not only expands the abilities of those who are disabled, but provides a means for any worker to be more productive. Creating a safer working environment through supporting of the body, as well as providing peripheral equipment support increases productivity while reducing fatigue.

Steady Yeddy products are designed to work outdoors where the work is, as well as indoors for those lucky enough to work with a roof over there heads. Steady Yeddys’ interchangeable components allow the unit to fit the job you do, so that at the end of the day more has been accomplished and there is energy left over for your life at home.
